Hello, my name is Louise Green. I am the founder of Helping Hounds Dog Training, I currently have four dogs living with me, Bramble my Labrador, Molly & Toby my Border Collies and Merlot my Working Cocker Spaniel. I have spent my entire life around dogs and know how rewarding a good relationship with your pet can be. Over the years, I have seen first hand how training a dog enriches its life. Good training, given in a kind and gentle way, provides stimulation that is vital to your dogs needs. Not only will you have a happy dog, but you will find that a trust and bond is formed between you for life. I am a qualified trainer and I am a member of The Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT 01003). All members of the APDT have been assessed according to a strict code of practice and have agreed to abide by kind and fair principles of training. To this end the use of coercive or punitive techniques and equipment are not used. What I do.... I run my own obedience classes, one to one training, fun agility sessions and tailor made weekend courses. I jointly run 'Dogs are not Dolly's' courses with Kiran Brice (Behaviour Centre Manager at Companion Care Vets - Sprowston Retail Park), this is a dog bite prevention course aimed at children age 3-11years. I also assist with a training course for 'trainee' dog trainers. I run 'Fun & Exercise' parties for children and their dogs. And I am always furthering my skills with continued learning, and have a particular interest in learning more about behaviourial issues. |
